I am able to type here in the forum, but not during a game. A java incompatibility or something maybe? I use a mac with either chrome or fire fox. neither allows a person to type in the message box during a game anymore. sometimes people get aggravated when they don't get a response. it's also kind of aggravating to be falsely accused of being a jerk. i've had people block me. You should be able to chat without a subscription. The problem is most likely on your end, maybe like you said something with Java. Can't say what it is though, but I think you should at least make sure you have the latest version of Java and maybe uninstall and then reinstall it. Can't hurt. If that doesn't work, than it's probably something to do with you using a Mac or even Google Chrome. Hope I helped a little...lol
I have the same problem working off a mac. I presumed that it was happening because I wasn't subscribing. Am i right that if i subscribe I will be able to chat during a game?
