i see new tournament room made for curling, does this mean we now will have curling system tournaments?
plz 7 pm est or later for canadian players
The schedule is currently being revised.
There will probably be a greater variety of start times.

OP
And the time. can be changed? :(
>can we change the day of tourney?

can we change the day of tourney?

Tuesday im never up to play :(
i would say 7 pm est would be good for canadian players as i am 1 plz consider this or canadians wont be able to play in none :s
Like i said why can;t we make weekend tourneys?
I would say 6:30 Eastern Time (3:30 pacific, 8:00 Atlantic, 11:30 UTC)
why not two ternament sites one for europe and one for north america
So how is the tournament thing going to work (doe.s a player enter to partispate)
Ok, so if it is 7pm in Vancouver, it is 11:30pm in Newfoundland, if I am right.
If the tournament starts 7 pm in Vancouver (which is 11:30 in N), it is going to end 1:30 am in Newfoundland (9pm in V).

Seems like we can not get a time which is good for all Canadian players either.
Op this might help you determine a time for canadian player etc...

Darren.
"7pm their time"

they have about 4-5 timezones, or maybe even more...
Yeah Lewis 7:00 pm our time is OK because most get off work 5-6 pm, this will give time to shower and settle in before playing. Can always do a test run and see if most people are happy etc...

Darren G.
I think it's a 2 hour difference if I'm not mistaken, so it would be a bit late perhaps maybe come up with a time in between.

Darren G.
There wont be a medium, it will be almost impossible to keep everybody happy.

I think that as most Curling players here are from US & Canada you should look at doing the tournaments 7pm their time.

6 pm pacific time, is about 2 am UTC, and 10 pm atlantic time.
It is surely a bit late for Europeans, but isn't it too late for people on the Atlantic coast as well?
Being from Canada I can answer this. Most people work 9am - 5:00 pm, so I think if you had a tourney time around 6:00 pm or maybe even 7:00 pm would be a good time on weekdays.

Darren G.
We have had some tournaments before in other games, that started a few hours later, so that players from your continent can participate.
However almost no one turned up in these events, that is why we have decided to start all tournaments at around 19:00 UTC. This is when most players are online in all games.

However, as there are quite many players from Canada in Curling, we might change that.
Could you please let me know what would be a good time to start on weekdays, so most players from Canada can participate after work?

OP
actually never mind i know we are :P :D. Just a bit disappointed that i won't be playing in them because Canada time Tuesday I am working. Maybe create saturday system tourneys at the same time?
